I am a 21 year old Computing student at Sheffield Hallam University. This site is for showcasing my work but also acts as a tool for me to further develop my web design. The site includes a PixelPost Photo Blog, a Wordpress Blog and a Google Map. I'm also currently developing my own blog to fit better with the site's theme.

I have been developing web sites since I first got connected to the internet and discovered Yahoo GeoCities. Here is a list of sites which I have either developed myself or been involved with.
Marksweb.co.uk Version 1 was setup initially as part of an assignment for university and was based around basic XHTML and a table based layout. I used some CSS and php to make the site a little easier to develop and also easier to use, but primarily concentrated on demonstrating basic XHTML.
Charlotte Court.co.uk was a site which I setup with the help of another student before I started university.
We wanted to provide the site for students in our position - about to go to university and unsure of exactly what it was going to be like. It provided a means of people to get to know each other before actually getting to university. We ran a phpBB forum which provided a great place for people to chat and for us to get accross important information as well as arranging events.
Sheffield Nights is a site recently created by Red Web Design. I have been involved with image processing and the site design. It is an attempt to provide information about Sheffield night life because it is something which isn't very easily available and as students it is something we felt confident in trying to create.
Following the success in developing Sheffield Nights, we then created Chester Nights. Which was again in partnership with Red Web Design and followed the same idea as before - we wanted to setup a site for people to be able to easily find information which could be used for planning nights out in Chester. The site follows the same core design and is again focused around a MySQL database.
