iPhone Reviews…

Been reading Digg this morning and already seen two iPhone video reviews.

Pretty good review - humour, clear footage of the interface and phone, w1n.And then theres the Wall Street Journal review…which isn’t so good. Although they both highlight the issues with the ‘Edge’ AT&T network - so i hope that kind of network monopoly doesn’t happen in the UK! Being forced to use a network which is inferior on a $500 product wouldn’t go down well!What the iPhone doesn’t have -

• Songs as Ringtones
• Games
• Any flash support
• Instant Messaging
• Picture messages (MMS)
• Video recording
• Voice recognition or voice dialing
• Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Streaming (A2DP)
• One-size-fits-all headset jack (May have to buy an adapter for certain headphones)

Taking this into account - in my opinion the iPhone isn’t worth $500 - and is another Apple gadget which carries a hefty price tag thanks to the apple on the back and all the ‘cool’ people who go out and buy these things.

I think I’ll wait for Nokia or SE to make a touchscreen phone which has all the modern technology I want in a smartphone!
